Bilsteins 5100 set at .085 Rear custom 1" add a leaf 265/70 R17 tires. Custom made aluminum tonneau cover with bike rack. 4x4 conversion with 4Runner transfer case.
I bought left and right cat converters from a 2011 Toyota Tacoma and installed them into my 2005 Tacoma, but air/fuel ratio sensors cable from old ones are to short for the relocated sensors position in new cats. Will air/fuel ratio sensors from a 2011 work correctly in my 2005, or can I cut and extend my actual sensors cables?

I also see that original Air fuel ratio sensor pet number is 89467-04020 for 2005 model both sides. 2009-2011 use 89467-04040 left and 89467-04050 right. Why 2009+ 1GR-FE engines use two different part numbers?. I also would like to know why same engine in 4runners and other toyotas uses different A/F ratio sensors. This is very confusing

DO NOT cut and slice the wires.

Maybe you can re-route the wiring to give you more slack.

Did you read the last sentence of the description, "does not fit the rear o2 sensor connectors"?

Aftermarket sensors may have a longer harness, something to look into. You may need sensors for a '11 model.

yeap, they are for A/F ratio sensors which are "front oxygen sensor", before cat converters. I'm just not sure if '11 model sensors will fit in my truck since two different part numbers are listed for left and right, however 2005 uses same P/N in both sides.

Well, I decided to buy 2009 A/F sensor 89467-04040 and 89467-04050. Found good prices in E-Bay for originals

New 2009 A/F ratio sensors installed in my 2005. Everything is working fine.

I'm throwing the p0430 code(cat below efficiency threshold (bank 2) and was planning on ordering densos for bank 2 sensor 1 and 2. Does anyone by any chance have the part numbers for an 06 taco 4.0 4x4? Went to advanced auto and they couldn't give me the right parts Bc I didn't know if they were upstream or downstream (don't see why they couldn't look it up in the cpu but regardless) so any help or info would be greatly appreciated!
