    I'm taking my fujimoto valve out next oil change. It's going on my wife's 4Runner. It hangs down too low for my comfort. Her 4Runner plug is recessed with no risk of getting caught on something.

    Well since I barely go over leaves I am not worried about hanging down at all. But that makes sense if you wheel.

    One time I ran over a palm tree leaf in my car and it jammed up into my shift linkage and wouldn't let me shift out of neutral. It was the dumbest thing I've ever experienced, but that's my luck. A random rock on a trail hitting that valve would make a bad day on a trail.
