I'm new to the forum and before I comment I want to clarify my qualifications. I have been a working auto technician since 1968 and am ASE certified. I taught Automotive Technology at the college level for 13 years. Unfortunately all brakes are not created equal. Your pads from advance auto are economy pads at best and make great paper weights. The rotors you show in the pictures are not in the greatest of shape and it is questionable whether they are salvageable. Again, as with the pad, economy rotors are not the answer. NAPA Premium rotors are about the best O/E replacement I've seen. Living in the NE doesn't help when they use a lot of salt or urea on the roads. Best to keep the sliders lubricated on an annual basis. You already stated you're needing to change the calipers. When you change the calipers, find a parts store that carries Raybestos or Bendix pads. These are a good O/E replacement pad. With the Tacoma, I'd stay away from dealer's pad. Tacoma brakes are not very good from the factory. How open are your wheels? If you can see the calipers, it wouldn't hurt to stop by a car wash and use the high pressure spray to hose off the calipers from time to time. Let us know what you do and the results.

already did a good amount of clean up, but all new parts are going to be put on as soon as i get some time. I only work 1 miles from home so i can walk/ride my bike if need be. I will get into the rears as well soon, I have been putting that off.

Welcome to the joy of aluminum snowmobile trailers!! I would hazard a guess that 50% of the aluminum clamshells on the road at least have cracks in the main beams at exactly the same place yours failed. When I bought my last trailer I immediately removed the torsion axle and welded gussets around where the axle mounts.

My dealer puts a good amount of anti-seize on the brake pad retaining pins. You should be doing this every two years as part of brake service.

The Taco's brakes are actually the best in class, though pedal feel is pretty bad.

The diaphragm in the brake booster is damaged and thus leaking.

ur car will start stalling at stop lights and ur braking will become harder. At worst similar to how hard brakes feel when the car is off. Not how it feels after u turn off the car, but when you pump it a couple times.
