I paid Toby $1050 for 8/100K That price for another 25K seems awful high.......I grabbed my VSC before Toyota finally stopped Toby, If I could take one of those $89 Spirit flights to get a real Toyota VSC, I would. SET sells the Moran Family owned version Its called Fidelity and does not cover as much as the TFS VSC,

Here were Toby's quotes to me

That said I always said would not pay more than$1000 for an 8 year VSC I will use to sell the truck privately down the line, But $50 more wasn't much for the length. I knew they were going after Toby next, I will never put 100K on this truck.

The only reason I buy VSC is to sell the truck privately and get good money for a truck that is covered far more than a Certified vehicle. People buying used Love the additional coverage and no risk and will pay up for it.

That makes my truck far better than even a "Certified" dealer's truck that would be priced at least $2000 higher, It's the way I sold my 08 and why I got more than I paid for it. Buyer had 3 years left on TFS VSC,

Even with the VSC I still paid a lot less than most who are paying MSRP or slightly less with huge tax bills.

Fidelity? SET sells Fidelity owned by the Moran family who owns Southeast Toyota Distributorship. They do the financing as well. That's why I went to a Lexus dealer to get a Genuine Toyota VSC.

Exactly. People should consider their insurance company when it comes to extended warranties. They are much cheaper. Anything the stealer ship offers you is way over priced and more than likely the product is not that good

Yeah I'm a sucker. I got mine below invoice, but lost all that ground (and then some) by purchasing the warranty.

I actually had no idea insurance companies offered that. I'm leaving AAA and probably switching to Geico after AAA jacked my rates through the roof. No points on my record and no at fault accidents yet my insurance premium keeps going up and up.

Extended warranties are for suckers! The only time I bought one was for my 2007 Toyota Solara because it had power convertible top and lots of electronics. Then, when the $350 HID headlight shit the bed, they refused to cover it saying bulbs are disposable items, despite the fact that it was the ballast that was the problem. Save your money.
