Camry got mashed..bought 01 DC..love it!

Greetings from northern Ky. I jut bought my first Toyota 4x4 in an 01 DC. My buddy is Tacoma crazy and has been on me for years. Every couple of years I'd get close to pulling the trigger on one but the insane resale value has always made me put my tail between my legs and run! However, I missed a pretty nice 02 DC for $9k. Then I happened across this one for $6900 on a lot. I got them down to $6300 OTD for a 231k truck. It's no cherry by any means but it's about half as much $$ as many others I have looked at. I've put a windshield in it, replaced the center caps, the new rear bumper just came in, the new Curt hitch is on the way, I put a bug guard on it to hide a rusty spot I'll POR15 later, and just overall cleaned it up. I think it has had the frame recall done, judging by a lot of other things that are rusty, the frame looks really good. It has

Just before the new year, my 96 Camry that I've driven for 18 years got smashed when, on an extremely foggy morning, I pulled out in front of a grey car with no headlights on. Honestly, I'm lucky she saw me or she would have hit me at highway speed right in the driver's door.

Anyway, really looking forward to learning a lot about this Tacoma. I'll be honest, I never knew just how much I'd really like driving this truck. I'm very impressed with it. So, I think I've been bitten.
