    The dash screen warns you about using/looking at it while driving because it's distracting, yet you must play with it to see what time it is. The clock should be permanently visible like the fuel gauge or a separate item in the instrument panel.

    Yeah I think the "always immediately available clock" is an option. If I recall it can be had for pretty cheap and is available across all model ranges.
