I haven't seen a galvanized version of a bumper on a taco but I went for it mainly becaue I hate dealing with rust and paint and powdercoat sucks. We will see how long it lasts but it's a pretty bomber finish so I have high hopes.

Couple notes from the install if anyone wants to learn from my lessons:
    1. if you're going to galvy it don't get the flip up license plate holder. The coater thought it would break free with a torch after the coating but that didn't happen. Had to cut it off.
    2. The LED license plate light green wire was the power wire (I assumed it was ground and had to re-wire it).
    3. Cbi drilled the wire hole for the license light off center of the fastening holes so I had to redrill that. Course I didn't check it until I had wired the light through the hole that didn't work... Rewire #2.
    4. I ordered reverse light buckets for rigid lights and the mounting bar is like 1/4" steel and was located so it interfered with the lower screw that holds the tailgate hinge on so I had to clearance that with the cutoff wheel.
    5. I used the Hopkins universal trailer connector kit which fit well but the supplied fasteners are too short and no one who's open on sunday carries 10-24 hex head fasteners... So plan ahead on that one. 1" long work fine.
    5. Fit was good, everything was tight but still took a good 8 hours of work from me and I still haven't wired the reverse lights.
