Caribbean Style

Hello All. Let me introduce myself and my new to me buggy. My name is John and my trucks name is Caribbean Style! I picked her up about a month ago from a neighbor who ran a caribbean themed bed and breakfast He was the original owner and primarily used it to get supplies for his business. She is a 2003,2wd,5spd,2.4l, 125k,ext cab in ultra white. The best part is she has palm trees and palm leaf graphics all over the truck. It kinda looks like i have a fish tank cleaning business! Ive tried to remove the graphics as best as i can, but I dont think he ever washed and waxed her. The graphics were applied when the truck was new,and from sun damage,the paint is dead around thegraphics ive removed so it sticks out like a sore thumb! Ive been using rubbing compound to bring the paint up and that has helped a lot. Other than having to replace the starter,she runs great.Some things i would like to address are new rack bushings,stabilizer bushings and shocks all around. Once i figure out how to post pics i will. Yinz hafta see my truck!
