Well I've been learning a lot by reading a lot of forums on here and thought it was time to join. I have a 99 tacoma 4x4 that my parents bought brand new for me for graduating high school. It now has 250,000 miles and still runs like a champ. It is still all stock. It's made it through the hard times with me when I couldn't afford to do anything to her. She's been neglected so now it's time to pay her back. Best truck I've ever had.

I had a '99 Prerunner years ago when I was a kid and I loved that truck, we treated it like a 4x4 and it surprised me quite often (though I did get stuck plenty of times, eventually put a locker in it). Never had any trouble with it.

Just got another 1st gen Tacoma recently because of my fond memories of the '99, just joined the forum myself. Welcome!
