I've owned two Tundra's and loved them. It was time to downsize, but I had no intention of going to anything else but Toyota. I got a really nice trade in for my 2013 Tacoma TRD Sport double cab. I hope to get some good ideas because it looks naked right now.

These were my other two Tundra's I owned prior to the Tacoma.

Yea, I went from a Silverado to a Tacoma. Much easier to manuver around town and park. More room in my garage for toys. It was a good move

Same. Had 3 2nd gen Tundras, great trucks, big trucks. Just wanted to punch a smaller hole in the air and have room for more than just truck stem to stern in the garage.

I like the first gen Tundra with the V8. Good size for a pickup. Never rode in one though. I do really like my Tacoma

I'm getting used to the 4.0 V6, but it's so much easier to park when you're in a public parking area! I have a 5,500 pound camper that I'm curious how it will take it.

Check the camping and towing threads on here, but a 5,500 pound trailer might be a bit much for it...

Well, you scared me. I found out the answer: Max. Towing capacity 6,500 lbs. (*except X-runner 3,500 lbs.)

We don't tow it much, so it will be fun on some hills, but mine has the towing package so I think I'll be good.

Still, check the towing thread on here. people bring up things like weight of gear, people, Etc. electric brakes, and more. Lots of good info there,

    Yeah it's very different.
I drove the 5.7 in a loaner. That power is nice.
Still couldn't be happier with my Tacoma.

Get some custom bed decals from cboy808. Is your truck a standard tranny?

I owned a T-100, 2 Tundra's, never had a problem, nothing. Made the mistake of buying a 2014 GMC - SLT, what a piece of crap. One problem after another. Mostly soft wear. After 26,000 miles I traded it on my 2016 Tacoma. I'm happy :) My last GM was a max loaded 1985 Buick Park Ave. GM brought it back under MD, lemon law. 29 years they're still junk.

    Thanks!
My salesman had ordered a Inferno, TRD, Sport, access cab, 4x4 for me. In early Dec. he found the very truck I wanted, slated to go to NC. He got to shipped to central FL. Closed on 12/22/15, a nice Christmas present to me, from me. Finally joined TW about a month later. Loads of great info!
