What bulbs are everyone using that go complete bhlm? Like turn signal housing and side marker housing and all. I'm going to completely black my lights out but am worried about how bulbs will perform without the chrome to reflect off of. Any help is appreciated here guys, getting ready to do this and it is just about my last snag.

Are you planning on blacking out the reflector part of the housing as well? If so you will need projector headlights and I would think some type of bright led bulb for replacing the amber bulbs.

I plan to do the BHLM but only paint the surrounding area not really used for light directing/reflecting and keep my bulbs.

Yea, there will be no chrome in the headlight at all, every bit of it will be black, shroud and all. The OEM bulbs put out enough light without a reflective surface?

And as far as main headlights go, already a mini h1 kit in the works, all I'm hung up on really is turn signal bulbs.

Brightest turn sig bulbs will be VLEDs V3 triton but at $160 I'd run OEM ambers

Yea, blacking out everything in the light. I ordered some xb LEDs from trs. Hopefully they "project" enough light forward to see them flash.

Yea, that's my hiccup with them, they'll be almost as much as my actual beam lights. Haha
