Hello. I'm hoping someone can help.
I have a 2008 Tacoma 4x4 DBL CAB Sport with a 6 inch Phase 1 Pro comp lift and 33 in tires.
I recently had a leak in the rack and pinion so I replaced it with a Mavel aftermarket R&P. The problem is that the tie rods on the Mavel R&P are longer than the factory R&P. I went to have an alignment but the guy told me he can't align it properly because the tie rods don't have enough threads to allow proper alignment. We though of cutting the tie rods but alignment guy said if we cut it he still may not be able to align.
I double checked that the correct part was ordered and we even ordered from 2 other manufacturers and all of the R&P's are also longer.
We ordered for 2008 model, 4x4 dbl cab sport. I don't know what to do. Please help if you have any knowledge on this matter. Thanx.

I just found out my toe has been out for 2 years. Had to cut both the outter and inner tie rods to get it handled. $340 later. Procomp 6 inch. The tie rods were fully maxed out and still toed out, ruined my tires
