Do a baseline dyno on your truck. Buy/install this device. Retest on dyno. Report back.

Before you start, Google 'turbonator' and enjoy.

Here's another thought. If something so cheap did so much good, why wouldn't every manuf. out there install it as standard equipment on every vehicle?

One more clue. When an ad says 'up to x HP increase' that means the real answer is 0.

I'll play the devils advocate here.

It's junk and most know it's junk. But I understand the concept. A normal aspirated engine operates on a vacuum. A forced air engine is on a vacuum until the engine is under a load. At this point it's positive pressure, whereas the NA is still vacuum.

If all this device did was to break even under load and say was at atmospheric pressure, then it would be an improvement over stock. But how long would it last. A couple 1000 miles. At the higher RPMs it won't keep up. Now the fuel trims are off just at mid range. I highly doubt you'll see the suggested pressure either. That's more likely all that fan will produce static and now air flow.

But any amount over a dead vacuum will see improvement.

With this, a CAI, and exhaust, it should be good for at least 50hp gain. 60 if add a couple of stickers

That's exactly what I was thinking. Like you said the concept makes sense but if it really was any good if would've heard of it by now and a lot more people would be using it. Just wanted to see if anyone else ever used one before

Much like the swallows of capistrano, the yearly appearance of the electric supercharger brings joy to the hearts of the the townsfolk. :)

Combine this with an HHO system, a fart can and 4 go fast stickers and I bet you can break the speed of light. Not bend it, break it.
