if you relocate that smog pump, it will free all that space there.

I am going to have to steal this idea.

What compressor where you able to fit there above the cubbie?

Did you have to modify the cubbie any?

    Another good idea.

Could you have moved the compressor up about 1/2" so you wont hit that cubby bolt?

Of course, you would have to drill all four holes, instead of 3.

It's the ARB twin in there. I had to cut out a bed rib to fit there but it's perfect.

If I had a double cab the compressor would have been inside the cab where it's most protected behind the rear seats like others have done. Only reason for my location is the limited space in Access Cabs. Wanted it somewhere utilizing unused space. It doesn't get too much water/dust/mud where it's at. The giant trash can of an exhaust blocks all that crap. I do plan to make a splash guard for an added measure of protection.

If you get under the truck and look at the underside of the bed you'll see little ribs that's part of the bed.

Underneath, yes. They give the bed structural integrity.

No, @Nate87 mounted the pump underneath.

@THE CALICO mounted the pump on the bedside above the cubbie. I didnt know there was ribs there, unless he's talking about the corner knubs i circled in the above pic.

I believe there has been a misunderstanding. I was referring to the molded ribs that are visible when you look underneath the poly bed.

Yes the bolts you see are the mounting bolts. There is one molded rib that was running vertically between those points. I had to cut this out.

You can, but before you purchase hardware I'd recommend using a "universal quick disconnect coupler." You will find automotive and industrial types, and normally you cannot plug one type into another hence the universal recommendation which will accept either type of fitting.
