Oh man. It's official anybody can make a mistake. I was trying to figure out why. He owns a gun store and his brother is a game warden surely he'd know if there was a law against it. Anyway I meant White Tail not Split Tail

It's the Strikefire II, for the price I love it, only complaint is past 100 yards the dot gets bigger than the target. I wish you could change the dot size but other than that I'd recommend it.

Ahhh. This is the shotgun. Mossberg 590A1, ATI stock, ATI forend, ATI side saddle, Trijicon RMR. She shoots really sweet with very LITTLE recoil.

Nice I'm looking to build a setup close to that for coyotes, my buddy has an M4 decked out like that and it is a sweet gun. Pic below is when he had it all cerakoted, not sure if that's spelled right lol...

First lower build was a success, a little stressful though. Had one detent go flying, but luckily I found it...

Cool trick that I'm sure has been discussed here, get a dowel rod that fits in the takedown pin hole, drill a hole in it that the detent and spring will fit through. Use your punch to compress both and rotate the rod a quarter turn then just simply push rod through with the take down pin. Will save a lot of time trying to find the spring and detent after they go flying... :)

Thanks! Yeah I used the old needle nose and razor blade method. This looks much easier. I need to get a set of roll pin punches too ...

Those of you that have built an upper or done anything that requires changing the barrel nut, have you used a standard upper vise block or purchased something different like a geiselle reaction rod or magpul bev block?

When I built my upper I didn't have a vice so I mad a jig out of 2x4's and screwed it to the deck railing, worked great and was free because it was made from scraps.

Can someone recommend a decent armorers wrench. Not looking to build a lot, just have it for maintenance reasons
