Are you looking for a switched 12v source?

Yes for a radar. Was looking to add a fuse under dash.

Best to use the Ignition CB. It will ensure your Escort is on/off with your key

Is that a fuse slot? There is one open slot in the fuse box under dash?

For the radar detector you could use "T-tap" connectors hooked to the cigarette lighter.

Thanks. I was trying to just add a circuit in the fuse box. I did it with a few past vehicles and it was really easy. However, the new Tacoma fuses are low profile under dash.

Years ago when I hard wired a radar detector in another vehicle I used an add-a-circuit fuse plug that goes in place of one of the fuses and has its own spot for a fuse.

    http://www.amazon.com/Shipping-Circ...31874&sr=8-10&keywords=Add-a-circuit+Fuse+TAP

They sell them at auto parts stores which is where I bought mine.

I just found a fuse slot that was switched with the ignition and plugged it in. Sometimes you can find an unused fuse slot that goes to an accessory you don't have and pop it into that one.
