I have 98 Tacoma 4wd and ordered a 3 in toytec lift kit for it and I was going to get some new rims and tires. People have been telling me to get 18x10 on 33x12.50 tires I figured they will rub. Anybody have any suggestions?

Here are just a couple threads I found on your question. This topic is asked almost daily, so there are hundreds of threads through out TW on this. The use of the search bar or ask on Google and end any questions on there with "tacoma world" and it will pop up some threads. Hope this helps. I would say about 80% of guys run that same or close to it set-up to what your asking so you should find a lot of helpful info.
Also give a search for" pinch weld mod" cause it will help your cuase.
Last but not least WELCOME TO TW!
