I've thought if getting some for my double cab. Also can't find photos. It would be about 1-1.5" taller then how my tent on Frank sits now though

I can tell you this. Mount it as low as you can to make it fit your style. I had mine 14.5" above the bed rail and am now around 2-3". HUGE difference in handling. So worth it.

And I'm all for the Bachelor or Shasta if you can spare the extra cash. I have a Shasta. Love it. Going on 4 years now

Haha funny you say that I was leaning toward the batchelor as well. And that makes sense about handling, on their website it says its almost 200lb! I was going to mount it pretty high so I could retain some height in my bed, but I guess that isnt such a good idea... which rack are you using?

Totally custom. It rasies and lowers. I built them both. Pre made ones your choices are pretty limited.

Really easy to remove the spindles, I'd just take em out and change the ball joints while you're in there.

    No steel.

It's easy to do steel. Not so with aluminum. Shit is hard to weld with a spool gun and TIG is no easy matter either.

Mocking up for an LED light bar. Might go double 6" if single 20" is too tight. Would need an extra pair of down drops in that case.

Anybody know how hard it would be to relocate the two AC hard lines? I don't understand why it wanders back and forth across the grill.

Unless you know of a company or person willing to cut and braze lines together for you then it'd be pretty hard to move those as they have a special end on the part that mates to the receiver/dryer. Not worth it, just find a different way to mount the bar, likely just up slightly higher.

I installed a Rigid Industries dual row 30" bar in my lower grill with minimal trimming of the bumper support. 20160305_183305.jpg

Well that's good to know. I was thinking maybe they were more like brake lines with a simple flare. Here is a closer pic of the two lines. There doesn't seem to be any reason for the line to stick out across the radiator when it could be like 12" shorter

Well as of last week I don't have a lower grill anymore so I'm back to finding room in the main grill.

After seeing Seafoam at 11.99 at the local Advance Auto Parts, I ordered a case off Amazon for 80 shipped.

Hey guys, need some help please.

Any ideas on my speedometer? I shorted out a wire (smoked) on my old instrument cluster. I replaced it with another one from a salvage yard but the speedo still doesn't work properly. It's like way off. I'll be going 30 and it says 10. And it doesn't move regularly through the range like it did before. I was thinking VSS? Any ideas or suggestions?

Yea Im definitely taking them out myself. Ive done it 3x over already so Im pretty good at it lol. My ball joints all less than a year old so I shouldn't need new ones unless they look messed when I get the spindles out
