    when will the $2,000. cash purchase incentive be available in 2016?

    I am ready to buya 2016 inferno red, but I want to buy it when the $2,000. cah rebate is effective.
    Do you have an idea when it happens every year?

    I think it depends on the year and available stock (i.e. how well they are selling). Check month to month on the Toyota website - probably most likely time will be September/ October/November when the 2017's start coming on the lot.

    I can't see it happening before then as it's a new model and Toyota Canada likes to bend it's customers over a barrel as long as they can.

    I can almost promise there won't be any rebates in 2016 for the Tacoma.


    We can't keep them in stock here in Burnaby - people are waiting 3 months to get their hands on one. Being a brand new redesign and extremely popular at the moment, don't be surprised if it takes a couple years before we see rebates. The interest rate hasn't even dropped since they debutted in October.

    I think in Alberta the dealer's might be hurting a bit more than other areas of Canada. While Toyota isn't offering rebates direct from the company, there have been a few posts of some dealerships in calgary willing to deal.

    Dealers may sell for less. OP was commenting on the end of year rebates offered directly from Toyota.
