Zero worth bring up, bought it 6/17/2019 with 3 miles on it
On Thursday I bought a 1999 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner TRD SR5 V6 Extended Cab V6 in White. I bought it so I wouldn't have to barrow a pick up from anyone anymore, and I love how the first Gens look before the 2001 refresh. I paid $4,900 for it which is good given the market here in Northern California for a Tacoma with 230,000 miles. First thing I was clean out the cab, because it looked like a homeless person was living in it the past month. Next thing I did was buy some TRD Sport 17" from a second Gen Tacoma with wheels. Today I need to remove the construction rack and tool box from the bed, and put in a basic stereo because the previous owner had a system and ripped it all out (I can tell by the amp, and speaker wires in running to the back of the cab. After that I'm not sure what I'm doing. I'm having multi point inspection done on Tuesday because the only service history I know of is the Timing Belt and water pump where changed at 160k miles. I live in the Central Valley and work in the East Bay Area. Hope to have a long stay here at Tacoma World.

    Pros:
    Tacomas are drop dead Sexy
Body is clean with no damage or major dings
Paint is about a 8.5 with only minor small chips
Clean Title, Clean CarFax, Numbers all Match

    Cons:
    Ripped Driver Seat
Sun Shades look abused like the airbag stickers where pulled off and on repeatedly
    missing screws in center stack
back light doesn't work for temperature fan speed area
Yellowing Headlights need to be cleared

Welcome to TW from VA! First gens for the win! :)
The tear in the driver's seat is pretty normal for that age- my '96 has it too. You might look into getting some seat covers to prevent it from getting worse.
Restoring the headlights shouldn't be too hard. I have the old school glass lights, but I have cleaned up lots of plastic headlights with a very simple method.
First, I wet sand them with somewhere around 2000 grit sandpaper. Wipe all of the trash off of them, and then apply some Meguiar's Ultimate Compound (pic below) to a buffer wheel, and lightly hit the headlights with it, not even in full rotations, just hitting the button a couple times per spot. Don't want to go to fast, or you risk burning the plastic. The Meguiar's will seal them so they don't turn yellow again for quite a while.

    Welcome to TW, from Folsom

The yellowed lights can be replaced fairly cheaply, as well. I got mine on Rockauto.com
