hey guys, my 2006 DCSB is in the shop for a new frame and new leaf springs. now is the time to change rear shocks and front coil over's. the dealer said they will install free of charge if the strut/spring is assembled in 1 piece.
my question is this. if i go with the new 4leaf springs in rear that toyota is putting on as part of the recall, and go with these for fronts
RANCHO RS999915 Rancho Loaded quickLIFT Complete Strut Assembly (Rebate/Promotion Available!)
    Front; Raises Front 2-1/2" - 3"; 4WD

will the truck sit funny? as in front too high? and what rear shocks should i go with?

    money is a bit tight.....

you'll be higher in the front with that much lift. 5100's are good but just having new leafs is going to make a more noticeable impact than new shocks on old leafs (especially taco's). Rears are easy to change but if their not charging you - go for it.

5100's are just aftermarket rear shocks and provide no lift. As to how much lift you can run with these, you would have to contact a supplier.

    Info:
1-1/2" - 2" lift in front should sit level with new 4 leafs (depending upon sag of front coils), anything more and your going to be nose high. Do some searching, there are many good threads on this exact topic to help with your decision.
