I took the headliner out of my truck and reinstalled it. When i plugged the VSC switch back in the warning message on the dash popped up and will not clear. Does anyone know how to fix this issue.

    Thanks

    Have your dealer reset it.

It may be one of those things that clears after several on/off cycles.

    I don't believe it is.

It comes on (sometimes) after a lift is installed, and needed to be cleared via TechStream.

Get rid of any evidence that anything’s been done to the truck, go to the dealer and play dumb.
Alternately, you can disconnect the negative post on the battery for a couple minutes, and if it’s not a hard fault it may not come back on.
But you will ditch all your entune preset settings and your all your driving parameters will go back to square one, as when the truck was new.
    Either way…Bummer!
Next time before disconnect anything tied to the ecm, disconnect the battery but beware of the above consequences.
    Best of luck.
