Hey,y'all, just wondered if anybody is planning on being in Big Bend Park next weekend 3-19/3-20?? Looking to share some off roading with a fellow enthusiast?? I hope my Toyo A30's on my '16 Sport will survive the terrain? Taking a spare spare!! Any suggestions on trail choice as I will only be there two days???? Help

Went out there Christmas week. Weather was great. Stayed at the chisos lodge. Didn't go off roading. Wanted to go back last month or this. Lmk how the weather is.

March is a great time of year to be out there, but weather can be extremely variable. I have been down along the river in shorts and a tshirt and snowed in up in the Basin within the same 1 week trip before. So make sure you go out there prepared for whatever the weather is, and know that the temps in the Basin will be a fair bit cooler than down below. As for off-roading, I haven't been out there offroad in probably 20 years. But when we used to go out there, the trail out to Mariscal Mine was kind of cool.
