I just bought a travel trailer and want to know the exact weight. The manufacturer doesn't even have it on the website and for whatever reason there is not a sticker on it that says the weight as delivered. I have the GVWR and max payload. But max payload is a round number, and that is suspect.

Does anyone know where I can take it to get an accurate weight? I'm in the Glendale area near Los Angeles.

    Thanks

Yeah, look for truck stops. Many of them will have scales. Don't know if you guys have transfer stations for your trash out there or if it's all curb pickup, but a lot of transfer stations here have them to weigh trucks and trailers with construction debris.

Metal scrap yards have scales. When I built a trailer I went to the scrap yard and explained what I was doing he said no problem and they do it all the time. Pulled on scale with trailer hooked to truck and got the weight then unhooked the trailer and drove back on the scale with just the truck. Subtract second scale reading from first and you have it. From time I got there till time I left was less than 15 min and they gave me the printouts and all for 3.00 dollars. Good luck.

Yeah I pulled into a scrap yard to get the gross weight of my loaded trailer for Art Fairs, they were friendly.
