A Big Thank You

I just wanted to thanks all members of TW. I have had 3 minors issues with my 2013 TRD Sport DC. In every case the dealer has let me down. My truck only has 16,000 miles on it. It started pinging about 6 months back and was driving me crazy. I found the info I needed about the TSB from the forum and made them address the issue. They were basically telling me I was hearing things. I am not a mechanic but I dabble with the simpler stuff and I know what pinging sounds like. It was good to know I was not alone with the pinging issues and it was more widespread than I would have thought. Next a very annoying front end metal on metal rattle that got worse over the last few months. Again several trips to 2 local dealerships and basically being told it's a truck it's going to make noises. My reply was bullshit I did not spend $30,000 on a truck with only 16,000 miles on to squeak and rattle like a 10 year old jalopy. This again solved by the awesome members of the TW forums. It was the left front brake pads rattling in the caliper, $3 spring kit and problem solved. The 3rd issue was the creaking noise once again TW forum members to the rescue. Wound up being the hood latch, the hood just needed adjusting. I severely ragged the service manager that I was able to figure all 3 problems out on my own with ZERO help from them. I suggested that he join TW. So a great big thank you to all the members of TW.
