    Hey all,

Was at the Baja 1000 a couple weeks ago and got my trusty '88 Toyota 4x4 stolen. I'm using this to push me into a new Tacoma. This way the bad feeling can be overcome by the amazing feeling of buying new.

I'm looking at an '10 double cab 4x4 longbed with the TRD Sport package. I joined this forum to learn all I could. I've got 3 Aprilia motorcycles and find a similar forum gold.

Welcome. If you want a locker in the rear I would get the trd OR. You can always add stuff like hood scoop and colormatched stuff for cheap.

Thanks everyone. Yes you can't go wrong with a Toyota. My '88 was nearing 500,000 miles when it got ripped-off, and still looked and ran like new.

Thanks for the TRD advice. My dealer is telling me the TRD "offroad package" is non-existent, and the TRD "sport package" is all I'll get in 4x4 longbed.

My Aprilias: '04 Factory, '07 SXV550 (super moto), and '99 RS250 (2stroke GP replica street bike). But, not having a truck is keeping me off my seasonal joy - '06 CRF450. Gotta solve the problem, so looks like I've gotta sell my car.

The dealer is right in the sense that you can only buy a trd or in a short bed.
