Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
He should be knocking way more than $500 off though considering it costs Toyota about 12k to replace the frame with all the work included...

That frame doesn't look like it was ever undercoated by Toyota, if that's the case, you're hosed on getting a new one.

    Good for you!

You don't mention any discussion of Toyota frame replacement eligibility. I'm assuming they didn't bring that up? If I were them, and it was eligible, I'd have made sure you knew that. It's good work for them that Toyota pays them for. Maybe contact the Service manager and inquire? But odds are this chassis is past their replacement program period, as others have mentioned.

    Inconsequential financially.

If you don't have a frame replacement commitment from Toyota, I recommend walking away. You'd be better off to find a clean example in another part of the country and spend a couple grand to go get it.

Yeah, really. There are Tacos all over the US, and lots not from the rust belt. I would look elsewhere because those pictures scare the hell out of me.

Oregon trucks do not qualify for frame replacements. I seen you said the truck came from Canada, ive never heard of any western Canadian sold trucks to get replacements but that dont mean its not true. It being imported might through a wrench into the situation aswell. But i bet when you call around to oregon dealerships they will pry through out alot of i dont knows to you since we dont fall into the coverage area.

Also since youre in oregon DO NOT BUY THAT TRUCK!!! We dont have rust issues unless a truck spent its days on the beach without ever washing the undercarage. Keep looking and youll find em with no frame issues.

I think the seller is looking to hose the unsuspecting !!

Then you don`t say much more about the truck

If I could buy this one in the area of $3000.00 to $4000.00 depending on how the rest of the truck is built .

Not for the crazy price that is asked .

Imported from Canada that might be another can of worms
