I did it the easy back up way. Very very satisfying.

Put out the three tabs then remove the screws. Easy peasy.

I think he means the plastic front flaps.

If not, it's been answered. If so, they have screws that hold them in.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
If you don't remove them right away, they will grind themselves into your flairs and leave a cut line. As previously said, they send to remove themselves on occasion.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

I decided to back up over a curb and park in the dirt at a local high school football game as the parking lot was full. My DCSB 4x4 wouldn't do it in 2WD so I went into 4LO and forced it. I heard a big ripping sound and after parking I found the front mud-flaps laying in the parking lot. I threw them in the bed and walked away. I didn't want to admit that I had just pulled a bone head maneuver. Apparently the TRD Off Road package doesn't include jumping a curb in its list of capabilities. Who says that 4x4 owners never take their trucks off road? I think the truck looks better with out them. Now I have to figure out how to rip off the rear mud flaps.

Why don't all you folks remove them the right way by removing the hardware that holds them on and then replacing with rokblocs flaps? It's a whole lot less mess not to mention cheaper than tearing things up.

Really? It sounds like it made it up the curb just fine. The mudflaps are a flaw where Toyota decided to skirt an imperfect line where they had to keep soccer moms happy.
