From what I can tell by all pictures, videos, packaging, etc...these look identical to the Proefx mirrors. I think the Tyger ones are cheaper too. I have the proefx model.

Good video. It looks like I can't jack this mod up too badly, so I just ordered a pair from Amazon. Gotta love the free 2-day shipping with Prime too. Thanks for blazing a trail.

Nice! I haven't seen those mirrors yet. I just came across these from another member on here... I like them so far. Mainly because I didn't have a passenger mirror to begin with lol plus I don't have to add the towing extensions when towing something big. :)

Glad I could help! It was a pretty easy install, it was my first time and I was learning as I went. The only thing that took me for a loop was the driver side switch but I figured it out! I got the review being loaded now! :)

Well, I called it exactly right. I didn't screw it up too badly. Even though you described how the switch module attached to the door, I managed to pry both of them up from the rear. I didn't notice the tab breaking on the first one, so I did it again.:D They actually seem to be sitting in there fine without the rear tabs, so I'll see how it goes before replacing anything.

I drove it with one mirror open and one closed, and the vibration was tolerable either way. As I returned home I realized that I already had a tight fit into my garage before, and no way were these wider mirrors going to make it through. Then I noticed the extra seam in the arm and sure enough, the mirrors fold in. Now I have even more room to spare when pulling in!

Thanks again for the great video. I would have blown a couple hundred more on the other mirrors if I hadn't seen your post.

Haha! Glad you got them in! I have more planned for Brokoa and I'll be posting videos every friday. I didn't even notice or think to try and fold them in. LOL I should have tried. Glad you liked the video and that it helped!

I purchased a pair of these Tyger towing mirrors from Amazon P/N TG-TM9T1088K for $221. Installation was easy except I need to find replacement fastener buttons for the inside door panel corner. The one you press the center pin to release. The center pin on both of my doors pushed all the way through and are inside the door panel now...

Anyways, the reason for my post was to ask if anyone else has difficulty using the flat + convex combination mirror? I've had a month to try and get used to it but I find the mirrors to be distracting when making quick glances behind me. My eyes can't seem to pick the mirror with the best view... Another thing I notice is that I cannot see my rear tires plus behind the vehicle at the same time as well as I could with the stock mirrors. For me a single slightly convex mirror "objects are closer than they appear" would work out much better. Does anyone know of replacement glass that may fit these mirrors?

Other than that, the mirrors fit and operate just fine and installation is very easy.

    Thanks, Bill

Hey Bill, sorry to hear that. I have my mirrors setup to where I see very little of the truck itself and more of the blind spots. I don't know if any replacement glass for these. I just acclimated to them lol. Not to mention I didn't have a passenger mirror to begin with ha ha ha

This is a picture of my truck with the Tyger mirror on the drivers side and the stock mirror on the passengers side.

Here is a picture in the down or non-tow position.

Here is a picture of the mirrors in the up or tow position.

I also contacted Tyger to see if they had single convex mirror glass that fit these mirror bases. They said no, not at this time...
