    Good Evening Everyone,

My name is Park and I just joined. Purchased my first Tacoma about two weeks ago. 2015 Tacoma TRD Off Road in Pyrite. Exact truck I've wanted for a very long time.

I also have my first vehicle a 2003 Chevrolet S-10. I wanted a Tacoma forever and then when the new Colorado was released I wanted one of them thinking it would be like my beloved S-10 which has been nothing but dependable. Once I finally was ready to purchase and began looking after my first Colorado test drive I knew it wasn't for me... I then went thinking to try the Canyon although its the same thing as the Colorado and I did not like it. I found them cramped, too car like, slow, and absolutely hated how the bed went up in the back.

I then said I'm going to find a lightly used 2012-2015... About three weeks later I fortunately was blessed to find my truck which is the exact configuration I wanted with 7,092 miles on it about an hour away and made a deal with the dealership. I was happy with as I did not want a 2016 because I don't trust that engine in its first year.

I attached a picture of it the day after I bought it. I've now added a Tonneau Cover (as of tomorrow), Running Boards, and chrome door handles but I love it!!

I've been a reader for years so thanks for all the content I've been able to read. I come from a Toyota Family and have used your resources to help my Dad out many times, he has owned a 1988 Xtra Cab which was replaced with a 2003 Extended Cab TRD (now at 161k) and then he purchased a 2012 Extended Cab TRD OR to replace the worst car I've ever seen, piece of crap Nissan Frontier NISMO my mother had.

Welcome. I have the same exact truck, and a beloved S10 a few years back. Miss that guy, but the new truck is perfect in every way. :taco:

Nice!!! Everyone keeps asking if I'm going to get rid of the S-10 but it has a lot of sentimental value as well as its the perfect work truck for me. The S-10 is great when its just me but being a regular cab its tough having someone in it with you when you need to haul stuff in the cab too.

The to be-Mrs. has a Dodge Dakota and a Mercury Sable. In which one is getting sold before the wedding.
