I've searched different threads for a specific answer, but none seemed to specifically state it.
I actually prefer the look of the factory rear mudflaps with the 4x4 logo. I plan on lifting my truck 3 inches with the Toytech ULK and purchasing 265x70r17 tires. So my question is: Will there be any rubbing with the rear mudflaps or do I have to remove them? Pics are much appreciated!

This is with fronts trimmed and rears stock after my lift (2.5 ish inches) I was ripping them off backing in deep snow, so I went to aftermarket flaps that are stock length and just remove them if I go wheeling. Pic is with 265/70/16.

This is how you remove the rear mudflaps... one guy on the winch, one on the throttle.

    Same lift, 33s, aftermarket flaps

It got a little deep that day, but not too deep to hit the ground if needed. The driving was actually good enough that I didn't air down.

@58siesta thank you. I forgot to mention my truck will be 99% highway and 1% light trails.

I don't think you will have any problem with the rear flaps.

Thanks @steelhd, I plan on doing my own design over the 4x4 logo and didn't want to waste my time if it was only to be removed.

About the mudflaps ripping off...I ran into the same problem. The damn snow stole them. I'm only running 265/75/16 so I don't have rubbing issues. But I purchased the flaps from Weather Tech and they have held up much better than OEM. They are also much stiffer...haven't lost one yet...yet. They are shorter than the OEM as well, maybe that's why they are still there.
    Just wanted to chime in.

 thanks for the input guys. I'll post a pic of my custom mudflaps when I'm done with them.
