A few months ago a mechanic told me I would need a new power steering rack.
I've done a lot of searching and can't find anyone else with the same leak.
I never felt any issues with the steering and my fluid never dropped, so i never bothered with it.
The photo shows the only leak i can find on the rack. Anyone else have this leak?
Does a seal need to be replaced? or the whole rack?

That leak is from what is known as an upper control valve seal. Not uncommon. It is the single most difficult seal to replace in the entire rack and requires 2 special tools.

    Alright.
Is it worth replacing? or just do a new rack? everything else about my current rack seems A-1
