Does a TRD license plate frame count as a mod?

Hi all, I've ended up on this forum via plenty of Toyota google searches. About time I joined.

Picked up a 2011 TRD Off Road after sifting through dealer ads for about a month trying to find exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love this truck.

I was already planning on riding shotgun with my friend on an off road trip with his FJ group. Figured why not, and drove my Taco up there yesterday and I gotta say, a stock Tacoma really holds its own, even alongside a group of heavily modded FJs and 4Runners. Got hairy enough to get into low 4, try out the rear locker, A-Trac, even the Downhill Assist...the works. Wish I had pics but I got her at a steep angle on three wheels at one point. Heck, even the JBL sound system with the subwoofer made for a nice soundtrack out there. It's even been really fun just riding around city streets, rolling over potholes and such. Love that hard suspension and tight steering. With a few mods, this thing will be even more of a beast.

I've wanted a Tacoma for a good couple years now and it feels great to achieve a goal. Glad to be here.
