Bought a set of wheels and tires from a member here and I'm just posting some pictures. Going from Toyo at2's to General hts, it's amazing how quiet the generals are, never realized how loud the at's were until driving on these. Also, I know it's a well know fact here but 265/75's definitely look better than the 265/70 standard size. I'm about an inch higher now.

Also, for people on the spring recall list, just know that you aren't guaranteed a new set of springs, at least not right away. I had an apt to get. The recall done Saturday, showed up and was told that 1) they would inspect things first and might determine the springs don't need replacing and 2) if they did need replacing it might be 3 or 4 weeks before they actually had the springs.

Mine at least was found to "need" the replacements so they put my vin in the system for new springs and now I have to wait until they are delivered, however long that takes.

Just curious - what if they were to tell someone they were not getting springs - the springs disintegrate - puncture the gas tank - burn up the truck and worst case someone is killed - then what do they say "Oops'' . Glad they decided 2 give U new ones.

Thanks for the photo fix, what did I do wrong?

I just started using Flickr and obviously havent figured it out yet. As for the springs, take what was said with a grain of salt, no idea if the dealer knows what they are talking about.

I was pretty annoyed they made an appt without telling me they might not actually have the springs.

Bummer about the springs, wheels look good though.

Called a different dealer and I'm having the new springs put on this weekend, hopefully they actually have the springs this time.

Separate but related question, how much have people paid to have their tpms sensors transferred to a new set of rims?
