power steering going out?no leaks and is fluid full.2007 tacoma

    my power steering was starting to stick last week. when I checked the fluid level it was low. I filled it properly and it drove fine for 2 days . now its getting bad again. does anyone know why or what I can do??

    Yup, probably leaking inside the boot...one day it will start coming out of the boot. Sucks to replace the steering rack, it was a heck of a job. I replaced mine with one from NAPA about 4-5 years ago and haven't had any issues since. Make sure you add the right fluid, check the cap on the reservoir for what goes inside.
    Good luck with that fix. I know there is a write up on here about changing out the rack and I wish I had seen it before I changed mine. Good tips on how to puzzle-wiggle the thing outta there.
