    why won't they work exactly, they say they fit 17" 6 spoke wheels, and won't the other one just pop into the center wheel hole?

    I'm not saying the ones you posted won't work but I know the ones I have work with no modifications.

    Center cap design are often very different among the different Toyota wheels, because they are designed by different suppliers.

    For example, the round caps in the second eBay link you posted are clearly smaller. Note the lack of cutouts for the lugnut holes.
