    i have a 1980 yota with a 4 cyl and im currently rebuilding a 3l v6 from a 93 4 runner im thinkin maby slap that motor in the 1980 and get some 37s on her whats the chalenges and issues of this mod has anynody done this or somthing close any info is welcome thanx yal

    yes i had that issue thats why im rebulding it lol id rather not be out buying somethin if i have this motor

    If you do the 3.slow, then install better head studs.. That's usually a pretty good solution to the head gasket problem

    Your best bet is a 3RZ. It's got more power than a 3VZ (perceived) and is a hell of a lot more reliable. It's damn near a bolt in swap anyhow. I did one in my '83.
