Bilstein 5100s (f @ 1.75); 5100s rear; All Pro Expedition Springs; PowerStop slotted discs; Akebono ceramic pads; Wheeler's braided brake lines; Prodigy trailer-brake system; heavy duty towing set-up (for off-road trailer); WeatherTech mats (awesome); 5% Ceramic Tint; matching Snug Top (mid) with racks; Thule racks; dipped badges; 17" 2014 OEM 5-spoke 4-runner rims; 265/70/17 Bridgestone Desert Duelers (for now); Siriusxm radio; more on the want list...
Struggling to find a competent shop in Orange County, CA who will install the ECGS bearing.
Prefer someone who has completed the install previously, but appreciate any recommendations that are offered. Thanks.

    Follow up for OC brothers:

Eric and the fine crew at YotaMasters (Corona) had a full calendar---and I had money burning a hole in my pocket, so Mario at Top Line Performance (Huntington Beach) hooked me up!

I would like to report that the ECGS bearing completely eliminated the wurring sound. In my case, it was worth every penny.

    Cheers.

Sorry about the late response----I have been off-grid for the last week.

    1. http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-8536125-toyota-8-clamshell-bushing-eliminates-needle-bearing.html
    2. Replaces the needle bearing CV axle busing.
    3. The genesis of this thread was due to the fact that three different purported "4X4 Shops" refused to even quote the job. (but many TW brothers have done it in their garage---and most report that rampant cursing accompanied the install....)
    4. I bought the pulling tool and the bearing install kit, which raised my total to $175.00 in parts (bushing is $60 w/o the tools); install was $330 and was completed in 2 hours. Not only is the wurring gone, but the truck feels less restricted (which makes sense from what I've read by those on TW who are knowledgeable about the install).

    Cheers.

Thank you and alot of that wentire over my head I've done all my own work on my truck and mechanically inclined but not sure what this had done for our truck. My trucks seems like it lags like a mofo like there's 500 pounds in the bed of the truck. It is going in the shop to get tranny checked out anyways because weird shifts and slipping. If this mod helps with the lag of the truck I will wait till it comes back to me and install this bushing. Thanks again for response and will look into this
