Got an 06 access cab. Currently have 5100s with 885x and top plate spacers to achieve the 3 inch lift up front. Going to order a winch bumper pretty soon and want to keep my 3 inch up front. Been hearing that I can't use 2886 or 2887 with 5100s. Which ome shocks do I need and which coils should I go with to achieve 3 inch lift with the winch bumper? And can I use top plate spacers with the 2886 or 2887 or just for taco lean ?

Sub'ed because I have all the heavy stuff on the front of the truck and want to switch to 5100's and 887's. I've never heard they wouldn't work together. My current OME shocks and 886's top out too often for my liking.

I have the same set up except double cab and Revtek spacers. Swapping out the spacers for 887's, 5100's and a 10mm spacer. It's suppose to replicate what I have now and finally rid myself of the spacer. They're on backorder but will post my findings once I get them and they're installed.

So by the looks of it I guess I can use 5100s? I heard it's not recommended. Just sucks that I've had them for 2 months and gotta buy new ones to accommodate the new bumper.

Yes, you can use the 5100's. Just amount of lift will vary. I believe the 886's are a longer stiffer spring. I was told that you really need at least 300 lbs. on the front to mandate going with these springs, or else they're too stiff.

You absolutely can use 887's with 5100's. I just installed them two weeks ago. Wheelers Off-Road assembled them for me. They yielded 3" up front. I'll be installing my Pelfrybilt hybrid bumper soon.

Yes. 887's and 886's are the same length. If you're getting a winch, I'd consider 886's.

I've got the US Off-road winch mount bumper with an Engo E9000S winch and got my lift from Headstrong Off-road. At their recommendation I got the 886's with the OME ARB91000 shocks up front with 3 AAL on the back. I've got a 2015 DCSB TRD OR. It was just a little stiff up front for a week or two but smoothed out after that. Rides great and maintained the lift with no sag. image.jpg

I think I was sitting at ~175 pounds with the bumper and winch. That lift gave me right at 2 7/8" up front and 2 1/4 in the back once it settled out after driving it a day or two.
