do not blame the dealer about floor mats...sheesh

well you make jokes but every toyota dealer is required to make notice of the floormats if a toyota vehicle
comes in for any type of service.

you can thank the dumbshits of america who don't know how to set up and drive
    properly for this requirement.

but even a smart person could get kerfluffled with a loose floormat on the highway
and not be able to sort it out before plowing into someone or go off the road

toyota dealerships gotta make note of mandated critical safety items
    and floormat anchoring is one

not a big deal ? tell that to toyota.
They paid out 1.2 billion dollars to settle dubious lawsuits regarding floormats
    and throttle design...[unintended acceleration]

these floormat checks are part of the settlement rules.

"We have made fundamental changes across our global operations to become a more responsive company – listening better to our customers’ needs and
proactively taking action to serve them.”

It's CYA after the Lexus that crashed due to the floor mat interfering with the accelerator. Other words, operator error. But not in the good ole USA.

I must’ve won the lottery also, I have the ’16 Taco V-6 with tow pkg.
But I’ve had no real issues except the mandatory learning process the drive train had to go thru, as when I drove it home it only had 5miles on the clock, two of them put on by me on the test drive.

That said, I checked the drive shaft and joints and did not see a problem there either.
I prefer mine dry, but not squeaking to allow room for heat expansion without breaking the seals. Once you break the seals, moisture and or water can corrode and damage can begin.

Most vehicles, don’t have zerk fitting except 4WD as they’re build to perform under severe service conditions.
Moreover, A quart or so low in transmission fluid should not be enough to damage anything.
But since unlike air and gases, liquids cannot be compressed, if you overfill it’s got to go somewhere.
Think of lifting a house with a hydraulic jack and what hydraulic power can do to a tiny transmission.
Moral of the story, if you don't trust the army of factory workers and engineers (who took out the dipstick) who are betting their entire careers and their company's fortunes, that your vehicle is good to go, don't fret, trust the warranty.
HEAT The real enemy of an automatic transmission, and the ECM is monitoring that, so sleep well my friends.
    Cheers!
