My 05' is making a rattling sound when I'm stopped and the transmission is in drive. The sounds goes away if I shift to neutral or when the truck is moving. Any ideas what the exact cause is?

Check to see if you have any loose heat shields on the exhaust system. Having the truck in drive while stopped might be just enough to torque shift the engine a little to make a loose piece of tin rattle.

On my 05 it was on the driver side cat covers.Get a large hose clamp that fits snug it up.Check all the shields and covers.Or turn up the radio.
