Anyone know what this is...

I found it on my driver side floor over by the footrest?

It's a little rubber grommet sort of thing about 30mm long X 15mm diameter.

 

Pull the footrest off and inspect the underside.

 

Sorry...to clarify, it was laying on top of my 3-D floormats which cover the footrest.

Must have fallen from under the dash somewhere??? I looked under there, but couldn't see anyplace where it looked like it should go...

 

I figured it was part of the footrest itself. Mine was shoved on quite haphazardly from the factory and small bits of the attachment part have been coming off of it for years.

Since when was Dr. Pepper a Coke product?

 

Maybe a sleeve or "bushing" associated with the pedals or steering wheel? You can see how it has been sheared off due to friction.

 

Fun fact, Dr. Pepper isn't tied at a corporate level to Coke or Pepsi. Depending on your area it may be distributed by the same people who distribute Coke, Pepsi, or 7up even.

Did you put any wires through your fire wall? It looks like the tip of the protective sleeve you cut to get wires through.

Here in Columbus Ohio it's done by the local Pepsi distributor who also does other odd drinks too (I took a tour of their bottling plant late last year lol)

 

I looked around for the doodad thingamajig whatzit doohickey and didn't see anything like it.
