hey guys, I'm looking to go offloading in Moab over my spring break, march 25-april 2nd. I came across the kokopelli trail and was wondering have any of you guys done it? is it safe to travel alone? would any of you guys be interested in coming along? I want to get a group together for an expedition type trip in that area.
    Thanks

Where are you coming from? I debated heading out to Moab for a few days during that week, I could possibly meet up for a run as I would likely be alone myself. From what I read about that trail prior to my last trip to Moab, it's a long trail, mostly mild with I think only a few technical spots.

I'm coming from SOCAL. ill be leaving friday morning around 5am and arriving in moab around 4/5pm. also thinking about going to antelope canyon as well. so if those dates don't work and you want to start the trail monday/tuesday that works for me, otherwise i would go to antelope canyon later in the week.

Easter jeep safari runs through the 27th so no way I would be out there during that, I believe over 10k people flood the town that weekend.

If I come out, it would be sometime that week following Easter. I'm on vacation, but I'm in CO so it isn't a long haul I can do a few days no problem. I'm interested in your plans.

@BenCO would you be interested in doing the trail march 28-30 or march 29-31? What would work better for you?

Are you dead set on running kokopelli? I'm not adverse to a long run, but I believe that is a 150mi + run and mostly just dirt road. Being I would go alone, easy/mild is right up my ally, but I'm not sure I want to spend an entire day being bounced around on a dirt road lol.

I'm in an 04' DC with front bumper, sliders, rear locker, slight lift. I have been to Moab, I have decent experience off roading but I'm far from an expert. I have some tools and parts + knowledge (quite limited in that department). Just want to see where you're at and what you're wanting out of this trip.

I can take this to private message as I don't want to cloud your op here.
