    Is there a way to use nav while driving. Can you shut off the safety feature?

    There was a wire mod for the 2nd gen (it also requires a switch), so there's probably a similar way to make it happen on the 3rd gen. However, I haven't seen anyone do it. I suspect the hold-up is the lack of readily available wiring diagrams. You can get them, but it's a subscription.
