    Good luck all around. Which you going to tackle first?

    I'm all ears for any helpful tips from your experience on the steering rack bushings.

    I'm intrigued by the motor mounts, been subbed to the main thread on those for a while. Don't think a rig like mine needs them, but would be an exciting performance upgrade and peace of mind to have them.

    Use tube couplers not bushings if you can

    I will be doing the engine mounts first I think. I have access to a lift so that will be the easier task to tackle first.

    They are black and very stiff. I just finished the install on these and my polyurethane engine mounts like literally 45 minutes ago after a huge cursing fest and I am very VERY pleased to report that this cured my steering popping sound while I would turn the wheel left or right. The rack feels nice and solid now as does my connection to the truck. Every turn feels as if the input fro me is instantaneous.

    The rack bushing mod is well worth the effort, but these are both installs I will NEVER do again. FUCK that!

    What would you like to know? I didn't get a chance to realign it and set the toe correctly again so the wheel is cocked to the right almost sideways but damn these bushings!!!! No more wandering!!! No more popping!! Yay!!!!!

    Put it this way. It took me MUCH longer and I cursed a shit ton more with the engine mounts than the rack. And that's the bolts were easy to remove because the engine was being held by the jack instead of the mounts. I still struggled with the rack despite the bolts.

    The guys who say it took 5 minutes to get the old bushings out after they pulled the rack are full of shit. Mine were like straight up LOCKED in there.

    That being said, an air hammer in this instance is quite the handy tool (I used it on the second set of bushings after I got a little ballsy and got tired of fucking with the bushing metal.

    Hey @SconnieHailer thank you so much for holding onto the mounts for me while I gathered the money for them!!!

    @Bonzen @Supermoto ... I dig your product. Much more simple to install and take apart compared to the stock mounts. Much more accessible as well and what not. They lined up perfectly to my frame by the way. I had to fight the engine to shift over to the mount due to jacking the engine up more biased on the passenger side. The stock bolts also do not help in the reassembly process. I must say though. Top notch quality, and thank you for being one of the only to offer a quality and tougher alternative to stock. Very nice! :thumbsup:
