Damn. I need to try the PNS. Thanks for sharing the vids. So with the PNS do you do multiple coats with a cure in between? Or one coat only? How's the durability (months)? Is it basically like opti-seal but in aerosol form? That sheeting is crazy.

I usually do just 1 coat of Sonax. in the summer or places where there is no salt in winter you should see about 4-5months of protection. No optiseal is more of a wipe on and it flashes away with no buffing. This needs wiped on and buffed off like a normal sealant. But Optiseal only last maybe 2months if I recall. Hydro2 last 2months as well and cant beat the ease of application. its just pricey. The 500ml bottle is $50 but you mix it at 1:4

When you clay, does it take out swirls. I also have a few fingernail scratches I need to take out around door handle and the dogs toenail scratches from jumping up on the side of the door. If clay doesn't do the job is there a product that you recommend. Forgot to mention my Tacoma is black if that make a difference.

No, clay does not remove scratches. It removes contaminants embedded or stuck to your paint. Not sure a stand alone product will remove those without a machine.

Thanks I need to do the wife's car too, think I'll start with it to figure out what works best for me. I had never used the clay before.

I clayed the truck yesterday and put a coat of Ultimate Liquid Wax on. Then followed up this morning with a coat of BL Synergy Wax.

Another product to add to the list... HD Speed. It is an all in one (cleaner/sealer) that has a fair amount of cut. I've not used it, but people are raving about it over on autogeek. Lots of pics posted over there and it's truly some impressive stuff when used with a DA. Does a really nice job with swirls and adds a great shine.

Subbed because I have a 2017 TRD OR that needs a detail...I think I have washed it twice since purchasing 6 months ago.

Looks like the plan will be wash, clay, seal, detail the interior. That sounds like enough work. And put 303 on the fender flares.

What do you use to clean the interior plastic? I don't hear anyone mentioning good old Armor All anymore! I guess I can use up that stuff on the old RX-7.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Klasse in the thread yet unless I skipped over it. It's the first sealant i've ever used. Ended up getting their all in one, and followed it up with the glaze. Works really really well.

This is good for interior cleaning. For the gauge cluster, this is a much better option.

For an All In One cleaner and polish, this is pretty good stuff. Some nice correction of swirls (with a DA polisher) and leaves a pretty durable Sealant. The Hi Def Paint Sealant is also really nice.

    a lot

I like Klasse AIO as a mild cleaner / polish then I tried Chemical Brothers but I'm digging Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant. My wheels are still clean after almost 2 weeks.

After all the reading and checking out forums from Meguiars I bought their Smooth surface clay kit and NXT 2.0 Tech wax. Most forums eventually say that you dont need a "sealant" and a "wax" as they are labeled . But I ended up using some Granitize Polymer wetcoat Carnauba after the Tech Wax because I already had it in the garage.

Ive never fully detailed a vehicle like this and it turned out amazing. It didnt need the extra coat but figured it cant hurt. It feels better than new. I cant imagine "higher quality" products could be better.

I recommend the Meguiars stuff. Im impressed.

    Thanks for the advice TW
