baby car seats,yes or no?

    I have a 2011 sr5 access cab taco and was told that a baby car seat won't fit on the jump seat and it's illegal to put 1 there,anybody else run across that problem?,i love my truck but will soon need to use a baby bucket/car seat to haul grandchild around

    If you can't put one in the back, you can use the passenger seat. There should be an airbag cut off.

    Look for the 'latch' anchor points. They are steel hoopa between the seat back and base.

    ETA: if not join the Double Cab club :)

    It will fit. I do so daily in a 03 ex cab and a 2010 access cab.

    It is not illegal as far as I know, but I haven't checked every state. A rear facing infant seat will be tight, but it can certainly work. I've been researching this as my wife is currently pregnant with our first child. There is a thread on here all about fitting a baby seat in the Access Cab. I'll give you the link in a min.
