What are you going to do if on Tuesday the truck isn't what you had ordered?

He bought the Ford because of the negative reviews on the Tacoma. Never heard anything negative about Fords.

I'd be pissed if it wasn't considering it's a dealer trade.

I've had a few Fords and had trouble with both...that said, the F250/350 SRW Diesel is my fav truck.

Did you get your $500 non-refundable deposit back?

I buy all my vehicles through a good friend who is a "high-end" used car dealer. He has friends who are sales managers at new car dealerships such as Toyota. He is able to buy them at slightly over dealer cost as he buys a lot of their "higher-end" trade-ins that they don't want to keep on their lots which would hurt one of their new car sales. The only problem is that when he gets me a vehicle (like my '16 SR5 DCSB V6) it will be sold to me as a used car even though mine had only 300 miles on the clock when I got it (had to be transferred from a dealer that far away). I was there when it was delivered and an older retired teacher had driven it down. I don't have to put down a deposit and when I bought my new '12 Tundra TRD from him he had one of his drivers take me to the dealership and I drove it back myself. He charges me $500 for finding the vehicle I want. I also buy my wife's Lexus' from him which are 2 years old and I keep them for another 2 years and trade them back to him at abouit 45-50K miles. My friend is also able to get me Toyota parts/accessories at a discount. It has been a long time since I dealt with a new car dealership directly. Keep in mind I am not bragging or boasting and really don't save that much on new cars. I checked what I would wind up paying for my new Tacoma from a dealership and I probably only saved around $1K off of MSRP but saved quite a bit in those outrageous processing fees some dealers charge. But my new Tacoma had a couple of things I wouldn't have ordered straight from a dealer such as the paint protection on the front and mirrors and those overpriced carpeted mats (I added Weather Techs). And the dealerships in this area aren't that willing to discount their Tacoma's much at all. I was reading posts on another thread that some members were getting substantial discounts on their trucks..not normally around here.

Is not what I ordered. Period. When you buy something and a part is missing, or its not what you ordered, you return it right? $200+ for floor mats? Ill never get my money back when I would sell those. I wanted the orange stitching, not white. Whats wrong with that. I was treated like crap, there is def something wrong with that. I dont settle, maybe you do, but if im dropping over 30k of my hard earned money on something. It better damn well be what I ordered.
