Will 2016 headlights fit a 2008?

    Well the LEDs will get hotter than any other factor once they're inside the headlights. I ran a stress test for about 4 hours on that piece without any issues. There's still a lot of testing and development that needs to take place before these will be ready for production.

    Not yet. Got a new print bed this week which helped quality out by a lot but they have not yet released the new dual extruder head which is what I need to make the he light parts.

    I wouldn't necessarily refer to it as "hackery"... Seeing as they are baked open and as long as some one is doing it "right", they are resealed to OE quality with no leaks. "hackery" would be someone half-assing the work and looking like crap. I just completed the retro on my 2nd gen and had the guys at my local dealership gawking at it and asking questions following vehicle servie because they were OE housing and looked liek they were never touched.

    bumping this as I'm still interested in some new headlights. Anything new and interesting I should be checking out these days?
