I had an '05 Silverado SS and it was a nice tuck, didn't have any issues. However, I thought the transmission was going to go out on me pre-maturely because of how it shifted to 2nd, which was a known issue. Only had the truck for maybe a little over a year before I traded it for a Traiblazer SS. Loved that SUV but the transmission went out on me, not once or twice, but soon to be a third time so I traded it before that could happen. That's my only issue with Chevy is their transmissions suck. Talking to Ford guys usually gets good reviews with the F-150's.

Had a Frontier after that and that thing was solid, no issues. It was a downgrade from my previous trucks, but I compromised and it suited my needs just well. That's the truck I traded for my Taco, which is my first Toyota. I'd be torn between Nissan or Toyota; Nissan needs to update the Fronty and I was waiting for that. Toyota beat them to it and so far I'm loving the truck, aside from it's minor kinks of a new truck (or since my first Toyota, possible manufacturer quality deficiencies).

I honestly contemplated a full size truck. Then I looked at the price of tools needed to get it through the garage door opening.
    Nope, gonna be a Tacoma.

Taken today at the Dallas Auto Show. Cool little car. I had no idea their price was as low as they are.

That could have easily been badges a Toyota. Doesn't have those usual distinct Mazda curves and shape

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
I'm a big Miata fan. Have a 2010 PRHT currently. The new Miata is 100% Mazda. It is based solely on the Shinari design and is called Kodo. It's unparallelled in it's lightweight chasis and sky-active engine.

Maybe the new Toyota (Scion) FRS which is NOT Toyota but just a rebadged Subaru.

Nice choice with the Ford. If I needed a 1/2 ton I would be driving a 5.0L Supercab FX4 in black.

I am conflicted with the 3rd gen as well. I don't care for the 3.5L or the styling. Too much is carried over fir me to consider it "all new".
